Introduction: “Only Life Overcomes Death”

Session 1. Practical and Relational Preparation for Death (“Settle
Your Affairs” and “Forgive and be Forgiven.
This session focuses on handling unfinished business, both of a legal
and practical nature, and the business of forgiveness which is
necessary in the letting go process at the time of death.

Session 2. Practical Care.
This session covers practical concerns in caring for someone with a
terminal illness.

Session 3. Progressive Signs of Death.
This session details the observable signs of the death transition and
how to serve that transition.

Session 4. At Death and Afterward.
This session covers information on the care of the body after death,
how to instruct the newly dead, and a summary of instructions for
conducting a vigil. Also included is a leela following the death of a
devotee.

Session 5. How To Berve a Dying Person who is not a formal
practionor of the Way of the Heart.
This session covers practical and spiritual service, as well as a
list of readings from Easy Death appropriate for use by anyone.

Session 6. Children and Death.
Instruction in serving a child who is dying as well as helping a
child who is grieving.

Session 7. Grieving.
This session covers Sri Da Avabhasa’s Instruction on the grieving
process.
