Chapter 8

Only The Divine Person Is Self-Existing, Immortal,
Eternal, Complete, Whole, Self-Radiant, Perfect
Consciousness, Full of Inherent Happiness, Unconditional
Love, Infinite Bliss, and Boundless Energy

The Apparently individual or Separate self Is Not
Self-Existing or Immortal, a “spark” Of Self-Radiant
Divinity, and Somehow Complete or Whole In itself.

Only God, The Divine Person, Is Self-Existing, Immortal,
Eternal, Complete, Whole, and Self-Radiant.

The Apparently individual or Separate self Is Not
inwardly Perfect, a “soul”, and Somehow Full Of Divine
Qualities.

Only God, The Divine Person, Is Perfect Consciousness,
Full Of The Qualities Of Inherent Happiness, Unconditional
Love, Infinite Bliss, and Boundless Energy.

The Truth Is Not That the Apparently individual or
Separate self Is itself Immortal and Divine, or That some
fraction or dimension of the Apparently individual or
Separate self Is Immortal and Divine, but The Truth Is That
There Is Only God.

The Apparently individual or Separate self arises
conditionally, and Yet it Always Already Inheres In God.

The Apparently individual or Separate self is the
conditional body-mind or Apparent psycho-physical
personality.

The Apparently individual or Separate self is arising in
three Primary forms, the gross, the subtle, and the
causal.

The Apparently individual or Separate self is arising As
An Apparent Modification Of The Eternal Self-Radiance Of God
and As An Apparent Contraction Of The Transcendental
Consciousness That Is God.

The individual or Separate self, As Well As every other
Apparent being and every other Apparent form or process
Manifested Within The Cosmic Mandala, arises conditionally
and Yet Always Already Inheres In God. Because Of This, no
individual being or Apparent form is Ever Finally destroyed
or ended In This Drama Of worlds. Every Apparent one and
every Apparent thing is a process, a continuum of changes,
that Persists Even Through and Beyond dissolution or
death.

Even So, mere continuation Is Not Happiness Itself Merely
To Persist As an Apparently Separate form or process,
Unconsciously Inhering In The Eternal God, Is Only To
Contemplate limitation. The self-limited personality,
Confined To the Apparent display of causes and effects, Is
Stress-Bound To Seek Fulfillment and Release, Either By
Exclusive Involvement In The Illusions Of inwardness, Or By
Extroverted and Apparently Inclusive Indulgence Of body and
mind In The Illusions Of conditional experience and
conditional knowledge.

The Immortal Love-Bliss Is Realized Neither By Exclusive
Identification With the inward self-position Nor By
Apparently Inclusive Immersion In the conditional or
phenomenal realms. The Realization Of The Divine Condition
Of Love-Bliss Is Necessarily A Matter Of Transcendence Of
the limits On That Love-Bliss, To The Degree Of Ultimate
Identification With That Love-Bliss.

Therefore, The Way Of The Heart Is Never A Matter Of
Identification With the subjective or the objective
limitations of the conditional self-position. Both The
subjective and The objective Illusions Created By the
self-Contraction Must Be Transcended Through The Process Of
Real self-Understanding, Which Becomes Ecstasy In God, and
Which Realizes Ultimate Ecstasy ).

God Is The Liberator,

Not The Creator.

God Is The Way Out,

Not The Way In.

The Way Of God

Is The Way Of Sacrifice,

Not The Way Of

self-Seeking,

Self-Increase, and

self-Success.

Therefore, The Way Of The Heart Is The Great Process Of
Devotional self-Sacrifice In God. And, By Means Of This
Great Process, the Total psycho-physical self Of My Devotee
Is Submitted To The Progressive Ordeal Of Divine
Self-Realization.

The Way Of The Heart Is The Great Process Of Transcending
the objective point of view and the conditionally subjective
point of view, By Grace, Through Progressively
self-Surrendering, self-Forgetting, and self-Transcending
Feeling-Contemplation Of My God-Revealing Bodily Form, My
Spiritual Presence, and My Very State, Such That the
conditional body-mind and the conditional world Are “Viewed”
From The Divine Subject-Position. And The Way Of The Heart
Necessarily Proceeds By Stages Of Revelation, Corresponding
To The First Six Stages Of Life , Until The Realization and
The Demonstration Of The Seventh Stage Of Life.

Therefore, The Way That Is The Heart Is The Way That
Transcends The Illusions Of “Creator” and “Creation”, By
Transcending the ego-“I”. The Heart Itself Was Never
“Created”, Nor Is There Ever any “creature” There.
