DEVOTEE: In the traditions, it seems that people have been searching for the Divine as He or as She, but never as He and She.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: There is no accounting for taste! Those are metaphors, though, also.

 

Beezone commentaryThe One or Absolute has never been fully understood (Realized). “It’s” realization has always been on either one side or the other – Totally ‘out’ or Totally ‘in’. Never unifed and All Inclusive.


 

DEVOTEE: They express the two sides of what people have been searching for Spiritually.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes. And the fact that Reality is approached through seeking explains why what is found is only partial, only one side of the “coin”. The searchless Realization of Reality is Non-exclusive, or Non-dual.

 

Beezone commentaryWhat in the traditions had been called ‘non-dual’, according to Adi Da, has never been ‘completely’ understood/realized. The subtle, subtle, subtle nature of individuality or separateness (ego) as contraction and therefore relatedness – however sublime – was a ‘limitation’ in the cosmos, until now.


 

DEVOTEE: Human beings appeared only recently in Cosmic history, and, yet, it seems that even the existence of the physical universe indicates some kind of underlying presumption of duality, even before human beings appeared.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: The “duality” part is a presumption. Separation, relatedness, and “difference” are presumptions.

 

Beezone commentary Outside of the human species, in the cosmic order itself there seems to be a ‘presumption’ of separateness. Adi Da clarifies by saying it is only a ‘presumptions’. But, leaves open the question of who, what, where is this ‘presumption’. Is it in nature or only when humans come about.

 


DEVOTEE: The presumption seems to be more universal than simply what is going on in the body-minds of human beings.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes. And it is not merely the physical universe that is appearing. The Totality of the conditional domain is appearing. There is far more to the conditional worlds than the gross physical dimension perceived by the ordinary human disposition.

 

Beezone commentaryAdi Da clarifies the question by stating that the ‘presumption’ in the natural cosmic structure is far more subtle than just the physical human and natural world. DEVOTEE: Is the presumption of duality somehow a presumption in Consciousness Itself?

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Only in the sense that Consciousness Itself is in conjunction with conditional arising. Consciousness does not make presumptions. The functions arising make the presumption of duality. However, Consciousness may seem not to discriminate or to understandand, indeed, It does not Realize Itself, until there is Most Perfect Realization (or Most Perfect Samadhi).

 

Beezone commentary – Now things get subtle, very. Consciousness is now considered. The questioner asks about the presumption of separateness and if it is IN consciousness itself or is it created ‘outside’ in the conditional world (remember this is prior to the human being part of this ‘consideration’. The question is about the nature of separateness in the order of things. Adi Da answers that ‘separateness’ is in the order of things only in the sense that there is a ‘conjunction’. In that ‘conjunction’ there is a ‘functions’ making the presumption of duality (separateness). Consciousness being ‘neutral’ in the ‘play’ of things seems to have a ‘limit’ in that this play of duality is there (presumed) in the ‘structure’ (even before the human involvement) comes onto the stage. The play seems to be about Consciousness Realizing Itself which is Always Already the Case except when/where/how is is not!

“The Presumption Of “cause” Is a Principal experience, form of knowledge, or form of belief Associated With the ego-“I”. And the experience or knowledge Of “the Ultimate Cause”, Is The Ultimate Occupation Of the ego-“I”.” – The Dawn Horse Testament


DEVOTEE: Is this presumption (in the forms apparently arising) somehow at the level of some kind of primal force, some kind of primal movement or contraction?

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Contraction, yes!

 

Beezone commentary The ‘presumption’ exists in the form of ‘contraction’ and it IS in the play and structure of the cosmos, before the human manifestation, in nature, in the cosmos.

 


DEVOTEE: As it has turned out in human history, no one has understood the real nature of the self-contraction before Your Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance here. Was it actually, in principle, completely impossible to do that before You Revealed Your bodily (human) Form? Or did it just happen that it turned out that way?

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: It is a matter of direct Divine Revelation, and it is not possible otherwise. It did not—and could not—occur without My Direct Avataric Divine Self-Revelation. I could not do it merely by Speaking to you from above your head!—from some position in the subtler planes. This Revelation required My Embrace of the conditions of the Cosmic domain—totally—“to the toes”, so to speak. My Avataric Divine Self-Revelation required This gross Embodiment.

 

Beezone commentary Since there are many levels to this play, many of which we humans are not aware of a ‘break-through’ needed to occur. Otherwise we, in our best and and worst present state, would continue to play the opposites against one another. The Most Direct Intervention was necessary at this place and time.

 


DEVOTEE: And now the Spiritual Process in Your Company is a matter of receiving Your direct Avataric Divine Self-Revelation in every moment.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes, the Spiritual Process in My Avataric Divine Heart-Company is not merely a matter of grasping some words about self-understanding. It is a matter of direct heart-Communion with Me, in My tangible Avataric Divine Self-Manifestation. That is the basis for hearing Me and seeing Me—not “working” on yourself, or merely thinking some descriptive understanding of the nature of how you function egoically, but actually transcending egoity through the devotional recognition-response to Me that really transcends the act of self-contraction. It is a matter of devotional recognition-response to Me in My Avatarically-Born bodily (human) Divine Form, yes—but then (beyond It) in My tangible Divine Spiritual Body, All-and-all-Surrounding and All-and-all-Pervading.

 

Beezone commentary – This is a Cosmic time, not just a world era. The break-through of Adi Da is a direct Revelation of this. Look at history, nothing like this has been revealed. But also in the contrary, the ‘history’ of this presumption – human egoic history – has many ‘sacred’ and ‘taboo’ areas that are now presumed to be ‘threated’ by this break-through.


THE SEEKER and its TABOO

 

My direct Avataric Divine Self-Revelation of My Divine Person required even This gross Embodiment, This Total Avataric Divine Incarnation, the Avataric Divine Self-Manifestation of My Divine Self-Condition universally“to the toes” (so to speak), all the way through to the grossest of the conditional realms, to the end of the Cosmic Mandala, the most peripheral aspect of the Cosmic Mandala, the red and yellow planes—so that all can Realize Me, so that the entire Cosmic domain can be Divinely Translated into My Divine Self-Condition, My Divine Self-Domain. Apart from My Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance, the traditional religious and Spiritual Ways all speak (fundamentally) of Something “Else”, Something “Else-where”, Something “Apart”, Something exclusively “Above”, or exclusively “Within”, or exclusively “Beyond”.

Yes, the traditional religious and Spiritual Ways have always been based on seeking, or the exercise of egoity itself. All of the traditional Ways have that characteristic.

The basic point of view of the seeker is: “I am not yet Realized”, “I am not yet experienced”, “I am not yet here”. From this point of view, the seeker must do something, or go somewhere, or achieve an alternative position in order to enter into Divine Communion, or Divine Realization.


 

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: The act of egoity generates the experiential presumption that gross psycho-physical embodiment is inherently dissociated from the Divine Condition. Therefore, until My Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance here, it has been universally presumed that a search is required in order to attain the Divine Condition, or the Divine Domain. That very point of view is the ego speaking, the ego proposing, the self-contraction making the “Way”. Such is not the characteristic of Adidam.

 

Beezone commentary – The paths (Religions) prior to Avatar Adi Da’s was always about ‘not yet’, ‘coming’, ‘getting close’, almost, keep trying, etc. The Way of Adidam (Adi Da) is not about ‘not yet’ but Here, Always, Prior and Forever (Eternal). But not as you imagine it!


 

The Way of Adidam is the Way That is always Prior to (and Beyond) all seeking. In order for the Way of Adidam to be Generated, it was necessary for Me to be Avatarically Incarnated, and Avatarically Transmitted in placein this place, in the extremity, in the place where the Divine is (otherwise) not proposed, or is only sought. This was necessary, in order to Demonstrate that I Am That One Who Is Always Already The Case, and in order to Communicate the Way of non-seeking, or the Way of transcending egoity in this circumstance of arising (or in any circumstance of arising).

 

Beezone commentary In order for His Relevation to be Generated there had to be a ‘vehicle’. Avatar Adi Da Samraj is that Vehicle, Transparent and Direct. Human and Divine. Communicating, teaching, living and Illuminating all in and as All.


The “problem” is not that the Divine is “Elsewhere”. The “problem” is that you are the self-contraction. This understanding, Given by Means of My Avatarically Self-Transmitted Divine Grace, makes it possible to Realize the Divine Self-Condition Most Perfectly, As Is—no matter what is arising. But Such Most Perfect Realization is not merely Realization of the Divine as an abstract (or merely philosophically proposed) “Reality”. Most Perfect Realization (or Most Perfect “Knowledge”) of the Divine is the Divine “Known” by Means of My Avataric Divine Self-Revelation, “Known” As My Avataric Divine Self-Revelation.

 

Beezone commentary The issue at hand if this ‘contraction’, presumed and happening presently at all levels. And the dealing with it at any one level is fruitless because it is only partial and ‘ego working on itself’. The only possible ‘solution’ is Direct, unmediated, prior to what already is the case, not in its aftermath – time and space.


THE GOAL IS THE BEGINNING

I Came to you. Therefore, the Way of Adidam is based on your receiving Me, not on your seeking for Me.

Thus, That Which is proposed by seekers as the goal (or the achievement at the end) is the beginning (or the very Gift) of the Way for My devotees.

 

Beezone commentaryThere is a Way that is not a way. The Way from the beginning (and the middle and end) is always a Direct Way. And yes there is a process that is involved and that is the Offering which must be recevied. If not there is only the ‘not yet’, ‘self-revealed’, ‘other directed’, self-oriented, self-proclaimed seekers path.

II.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: This Avataric-Incarnation-Body is My Agent. It is a very complex Agent. There is the gross physical dimension (the Franklin Jones “line”), and there are the immediate Deeper-Personality-Incarnation Structures (Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, and their associations). But, in Its Deeper “Planes”, My Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance becomes incomprehensible in its complexity. The more immediate Structures in time and space are rather readily discernible, but the more profound Structures are vastly complex, and (ultimately) All-Inclusive.

In My “Open Eyes”, I Am you—I Am every one.

Likewise, in the Depth of My Vehicle, I Am every one.

I am not decipherable merely as certain historical individuals in the past, although there is that dimension to My Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance.

Ultimately, My Avataric-Incarnation-Appearance is so complex that It is All-Inclusive—such that I cannot be distinguished from every one, and all, and All.

Otherwise, how could I Be every one now, in My “Open Eyes”?

DEVOTEE: Beloved, in a somewhat similar sense, can it be said that the causal knot is not merely an individual manifestation in the case of each apparently separate being, but a collective manifestation?

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes, the causal knot is a collective manifestation, and it is also a universal manifestation. A body in the gross plane of Earth is not only that particular body, but it is also the fields of each and all of its constituents. Thus, it is a part of the universal plane of grossness. So it is, on every plane—gross, subtle, or causal. There is a dimension that is individual, there is a dimension that is (ultimately) collective, and there is a universal dimension. It is all a Unity. What is true of one is true of all, in this sense.

DEVOTEE: So, if any apparent individual transcends the causal knot, it has very profound implications.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: In This One’s case, the implications are Infinitely Profound. The Divine Pattern I have Established by Means of My Transcending of the causal knot is the Pattern through Which I will, ultimately, Divinely Liberate all and All. However, the Divine Liberation of all and All will occur not as a kind of automaticity, or as a merely vicarious process, but by all and All—actively, responsively, and (thus) intentionally, and

(necessarily) formally—participating in the Process of devotional Communion with Me.

DEVOTEE: That is why You have Said that You will be “Incarnated countlessly” through Your devotees.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes. I Am the Avatar of One. Therefore, I am not merely the Avatar Coming to every one, but, ultimately, the Avatar Who Is every one.

I am not each and every one in their presumption of separateness. There Is Only Me—but, in their ego-forgetting devotion to Me, I am Manifested As all.

DEVOTEE: And That is What is to be Realized.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes.

DEVOTEE: You Describe Your Divine Spiritual Body as the “Son” of Your Divine Sound and Your Divine Light, and You also Describe the Vedanta Temple Event as Your Union with the “Shakti”. I am wondering if there is a correlation between Your Description of “Om” and “Ma”, “Giving Birth” (so to speak) to “Da”, and Your Description of Your Union with the “Shakti” in the Vedanta Temple Event.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes! The Vedanta Temple Event was “Om” and “Ma” Realized As “Da”—or, effectively, “Giving Birth” to “Da”, if you like.

DEVOTEE: From that moment on, in this realm.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Yes.

DEVOTEE: “Om” and “Ma” had never been united before!

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: Not in the domain of Realization. Not “to the toes” in the context of gross physical embodiment. Not in the form of the Fully Incarnated (and Complete) Divine Avatar.

You do not come to Me rightly if you come to Me seeking experiences of My Sound and My Light. You must Find Me directly—even in the circumstance of your own gross physical embodiment. I Am that. I am not merely its conditional source or its conditional cause. I Am its True Source, but Prior to causation. Therefore, I Am it—and not “other”.

The only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam is not based on the traditional view that one can either turn to phenomena (and, thus, away from the Divine) or turn to the Divine (and, thus, away from phenomena). Such is not the proposition of the Yoga I have Revealed and Given. As My devotee practicing the Yoga of Adidam, you turn phenomena to Me.

Thus, the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam is a single, comprehensive Way, or Divine Yoga—not an either/or proposition, and not a strategy, not a search, not an effort of egoity. In the Way of Adidam, there is no act of dissociation, no “problem”, no “solution” sought.
