June
7 Approximately one week after arriving at Swami Muktananda’s Shree Gurudev Ashram, Adi Da is working in the garden when the Divine Shakti appears to Him in subtle form as the Virgin Mary. She instructs Him in a form of the Catholic Christian prayer, “Hail Mary”. This initiates a period of Christian heart-visions for Adi Da.
20 At Swami Muktananda’s Ashram in Ganeshpuri, India, the Divine Shakti in the form of the Virgin Mary instructs Adi Da Samraj to go on a pilgrimage to the Christian holy places in Jerusalem and Europe. He starts a diary of His Christian experiences, which He continues until July 17, 1970.
22 During His daily visit to the burial shrine of Swami Nityananda, Adi Da Samraj is blessed by Swami Nityananda, who tells Him that He belongs to the Mother-Shakti now, and confirms that He should leave Swami Muktananda’s Ashram and let Her guide Him.
