DRIFTED IN THE DEEPER LAND
Chapter 5: Sidebar 3
Listening, Hearing, and Seeing
“Listening”, “hearing”, and “seeing” are specific terms
used by Avatar Adi Da Samraj for different stages of
understanding and realization in the progress of practice of
the Way of the Heart.
AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: The usual man or woman is in motion
toward objects, unaware of the motivating contraction.
Therefore, the usual man or woman is full of desires,
motivations, impulses, attractions, attachments, strategies,
and so on. This is what there is to observe. “Listening” is
about observing this about yourself in the process of the
unique Yoga of Ruchira Buddha Bhakti, until you discover the
motivating source, the self-contraction itself, which is
common to every motive, every desire, every attachment,
every search. When this discovery is grasped, then that is
most fundamental self-understanding, and in that
understanding there is the capability in every moment to
notice and feel beyond the self-contraction. This is the
unique capability that is the sign of true “hearing”.

AVATAR ADI DA SAMRAJ: After true hearing, the next Great
Grace My devotee is Given by Me is the Grace of true seeing.
True seeing is the profound heart-capability for full, and
truly Spiritually Awakened and truly Spiritually receptive
and truly Spiritually responsive, and truly Spiritually
responsible . . . Communion with Me. [I Am (My Self)
