The Present or Living
God

The conventional occidental idea of God, or the Ultimate
Reality, is of a Separate Being that is other than the “I”
of creatures and that is the creator or independent opposite
of all objects or things.

The conventional oriental idea of God, or the Ultimate
Reality, is of Being Itself, Which is conceived to be
identical to the “I” of creatures, but which is also
conceived to be the tacit opponent of all objects or
things.

The Ultimate Reality, the always Present and Living God,
prior to all ideas, may, however, be Realized directly, and
thus Revealed to be That in Which the “I” and all objects or
things are presently arising as spontaneous, nonbinding, and
free modifications of Itself.
