PART TWELVE

The True Divine Spiritual Process

No Seeking / Mere Beholding

Spiritual Initiation Of The Primary Practice Of
The Way Of Adidam Ruchiradam

  1.

The Way I have Revealed and Given is not any form of seeking.

The Way I have Revealed and Given is, most fundamentally, a matter of merely Beholding (give regard, hold in view, to see, relaxing all effort) Me (Bright Form, Divine).

To merely (soley, only, nothing more, pure) Behold Me is to be constantly engaged (relationship) in devotional* (submission) resort (reach out) to Me.

Merely Beholding Me is the always primary practice of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam.

The only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam, in Its basic (not developed or fully) maturity, is searchless (ever present, not elsewhere) Beholding of Me, without self-reference (no ego) or strategic self-manipulation (effort), and (altogether) such that My Divine Avataric Spiritual Blessing (transmission) is effortlessly and tangibly experienced. (described-demonstrated (felt by others)

PRIMARY PRACTICES

GRACE GIVEN and INSTITUTIONALLY APPROVED

My searchlessly Me-Beholding devotee must always see to it that the body-mind is prepared for this primary practice—on the basis of previous (and, necessarily, continuing) fulfillment of the functional, practical, relational, and cultural requirements for formal (organizational) full practice of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam).

And, in order to formally enter into (and, thereafter, to continue in) the Spiritual practice of searchlessly Beholding Me, My any devotee must be formally approved to do so by the Ruchira Sannyasin Order of Adidam Ruchiradam, and (thereupon) formally registered with the Avataric Samrajya of Adidam as so approved, in accordance with the qualifications Described, by Me, in The Dawn Horse Testament.50

SUMMARY

The Way of Adidam Ruchiradam, as revealed by Adi Da Samraj, is not about seeking or self-effort. Instead, it centers on “merely Beholding” or viewing the Divine (Adi Da Samraj’s form) in a relaxed and effortless manner. This practice of Beholding is one of devotion and surrender, where the devotee enters a relationship of trust and openness, free of self-centered effort or manipulation.

In its basic form, this practice involves simply being present to the Divine without reference to self or ego, allowing Divine Blessing to be experienced naturally and tangibly.

To engage in this practice fully, devotees must prepare their body-mind according to Adidam’s functional, practical, relational, and cultural standards. Formal entry into this practice requires institutional approval from the Ruchira Sannyasin Order and registration with the Avataric Samrajya, based on qualifications outlined by Adi Da in The Dawn Horse Testament.

THE TWO – THE DIVINE AND THE DEVOTEE

The Spiritual process in My Divine Avataric Company is a matter of being inherently (not in time, no present effort, before any act) surrendered to Me, merely (soley, only, nothing more, pure)  by virtue of turning* the body-mind (or every faculty and function) entirely to Me.

*“You are presuming that the practice is to turn to Me, and also to deliberately forget everything else. No, if you turn to Me, there is no “deliberately forget everything else”. When you are turned to Me, the contents of “experience” do not bind you. Turning to Me does not make you dysfunctional. There is nothing about turning to Me that undermines compassionate association with others. Why should it do such a thing? Turning to Me is not a strategic means of forgetting everything else.”

The Spiritual process in My Divine Avataric Company is not about the egoic self.

The Spiritual process in My Divine Avataric Company is not even an effort of the egoic self.

The Spiritual process in My Divine Avataric Company is effortless (Beholding) attending to Me, without turning in on oneself.

The Spiritual process in My Divine Avataric Company is a matter of relinquishing all seeking—and this merely by Beholding Me and (thereby) relaxing all effort to do something to oneself (or about one’s “problems”).

Therefore, the primary and fundamental practice of devotion to Me—which is the fully established Yoga of Ruchira Avatara Bhakti, or the searchless turning of attention, body, emotion, and breath to Me—is not to be done as an exercise of strategic (or egobound and ego-binding) self-effort.

That searchless turning to Me is done by bodily facing My Avatarically-Born bodily (human) Divine Form, while maintaining a relaxed eyes-open gaze (unless or until the Force of My Spiritual Invasion causes the eyes spontaneously to close), and (thus and thereby) simply allowing yourself to be receptively attentive to Me, and to receptively feel Me, and to receptively breathe Me.

Most fundamentally, that searchless turning to Me is a matter of Beholding My Avatarically-Born bodily (human) Divine Form— and (thus and thereby) of being simply and openly attentive (and spontaneously Attracted) to Me, without the addition of any other kind of technical practice.

Mind/Attention, Emotion/Feeling, Body, Breath

Such simple Ruchira Avatara Bhakti (or tacit and natural devotional practice) is an effortless presentation of the body-mind (of four faculties) of My devotee to My Avatarically-Born bodily (human) Divine Form—and, only thus (and entirely thereby), to

My Avatarically

Self-Transmitted Spiritual (and

Always Blessing)

Divine Presence, and to

My Avatarically

Self-Revealed (and Very, and

Transcendental, and

Perfectly Subjective, and

Inherently Spiritual, and

Inherently egoless, and

Inherently Perfect, and

Self- Evidently Divine)

State.

In so doing, the total body-mind (of four faculties) of My devotee should be naturally relaxed, and tacitly open (in a calmly receptive, or searchlessly attending, manner) to My Avatarically- Born and Divinely “Bright” bodily (human) Form (in front of his or her own eyes) and to the potential experiential Manifestation of My Avatarically Self-Transmitted Divine Spirit-Current of “Bright” Love-Bliss (in whatever Manner I may Choose or Appear to Be So Manifested).

Thus, the primary dimension of the fully established (devotional- and-Spiritual) practice of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam is searchless Satsang with Me.

The Essence of true (and, thus, fully participatory) Satsang with Me is no-seeking, by Means of mere (or inherently searchless) devotional Beholding (of Me).

The primary practice of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam is (thus, in effect) to perform the Sacrament of Universal Sacrifice, such that all four faculties are simply attending (receptively) to My Avatarically-Born and Divinely “Bright” bodily (human) Form—without any added effort or technical exercise.

SUMMARY

The Spiritual process in Adi Da Samraj’s Way is one of effortless, inherent surrender, where the devotee’s entire being—body, mind, feeling, and breath—is naturally oriented toward Adi Da without ego-driven effort or self-manipulation. This involves an uncomplicated, open, and relaxed Beholding of Adi Da’s bodily Divine Form, without self-centered goals, problems, or strategies.

In this practice, the act of “turning to” Adi Da is not about forcibly forgetting all else but rather about naturally resting in His presence. The approach encourages compassion and connection with others, without distraction from experience or function.

True devotion here means simply being present to Adi Da, free from any technical or ego-bound practice, thereby allowing His Divine Blessing to be experienced fully. This “searchless Satsang” embodies a total devotional alignment, where the devotee’s being participates in a Sacrament of Universal Sacrifice, deeply receptive to Adi Da’s Divine “Bright” Form, Presence, and Love-Bliss.

TESTED, PROVEN, AND DEMONSTRATED

My devotee prepares himself or herself for the fullness of both devotional and Spiritual practice of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam in the student-beginner stage of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam— in the maturity of which the practice of Ruchira Avatara Bhakti Yoga must be “tested and proven” to be the real demonstration of ego-surrendering and ego-forgetting devotional surrender to Me (which inherently demonstrates itself in tacit, effortless, and, altogether, searchless Beholding of Me, or holding to Me).

OUTER TEMPLE

The (devotionally active, but not yet formally by-Me-Spiritually- Initiated) “outer temple” of student-beginner practice is where the foundation of right life is established—through the basic exercise of fundamental right devotion to Me (which is the foundational establishment of the practice of Ruchira Avatara Bhakti Yoga, or the turning of the four principal psycho-physical faculties in devotional recognition-response to Me) and the foundational adaptation to the by-Me-Given functional, practical, and relational modes of disciplining gross egoity, and (also) to the foundational by-Me- Given cultural disciplines (including the foundational exercise of the “conscious process”, in the form of simple Name-Invocation of Me, and of “conductivity” practice), and (in due course) the preliminary root-practice of “Perfect Knowledge” (Which is the primary form of the “conscious process” for all My fully adapted devotees previous to the “Perfect Practice”).

ADAPTED

Once My student-beginner devotee is confirmed to be rightly and fully adapted to the devotionally to-Me-surrendered demonstration of the real capability for the (from then) constant exercise of the primary practice (of searchlessly Beholding Me), he or she may be formally approved to come into My Divine Avataric physical human Company—or, after My Divine Avataric physical human Lifetime, into the physical human company and by-Me-Spiritually- Empowered circumstances of My Ruchira Sannyasin devotees—on extended formal retreat, for the purpose of formal Spiritual Initiation, by Me, into the process of receiving My Ruchira Shaktipat.

All the (eventually) following practices of the only-by- Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam follow, responsively, upon right devotional reception of My tangible experiential Avataric Transmission of My Own Spirit-Current of Divine Love-Bliss-Person (or Ruchira Shaktipat), Given and received in the context of the primary practice (of searchless Beholding of My Avatarically-Born bodily human Divine Form).

In order to formally enter into the circumstance of My Ruchira Shaktipat Initiation, My devotee must—on the basis of having already (as a student-beginner) fully (and accountably) adapted to, and fully developed, the full range of the by-Me-Given foundation (functional, practical, relational, and cultural*) disciplines of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam, and having already (as a fully adapted student-beginner) fully (and accountably) entered into the exercise of the preliminary practice of “Perfect Knowledge”—be already (as a mature student-beginner) spontaneously, effortlessly, and non-strategically demonstrating the foundational signs of true devotional surrender to Me, demonstrated (inherently) as moment to moment devotional Communion with Me (by the searchless Beholding of Me).

* It is a process of entering into depth. And functional, practical, relational, and cultural discipline of the body-mind is an ongoing process under all kinds of circumstances throughout each day. This is the way your activity is reflected to yourself, such that you generate self-understanding in the process of this self-surrendering devotion.

On that basis, My mature student-beginner devotee must be formally approved and formally invited, by the Ruchira Sannyasin Order of Adidam Ruchiradam, to enter into the circumstance of My Ruchira Shaktipat Initiation—and, then (and only then), the formal transition to the first period of the intensive listening (and would- be, eventually, hearing) stage of the only-by-Me Revealed and Given Way of Adidam Ruchiradam is made.

Summary

When a student-beginner devotee of Adi Da Samraj demonstrates full readiness and sincere, surrendered devotion in the primary practice of “searchlessly Beholding” Him, they may be approved to enter His physical presence—or, after His lifetime, the empowered company of His dedicated Ruchira Sannyasin devotees. This retreat offers the purpose of formal Spiritual Initiation, where Adi Da transmits His Divine Spirit through the Ruchira Shaktipat.

This initiation follows a foundation of discipline that includes functional, practical, relational, and cultural aspects, helping the devotee develop self-understanding through devotional self-surrender. Once this foundation is deeply established, the mature student-beginner may be invited by the Ruchira Sannyasin Order for Shaktipat Initiation, which begins a profound spiritual transition to the listening and, eventually, hearing stages of Adi Da’s Way.
