Chapter 5: The Seamless Garment of Love
The Love-Sacrifice of the Whole Body
Both body and mind must be transcended, Transfigured, and
at last Dissolved in the Radiant Transcendental
Life-Consciousness.
The body cannot be transcended in the mind. The body,
like the mind, can only be transcended in the Radiant
Transcendental Life-Consciousness.
First, the mind, or the illusion of a separate inner
being and self, must be transcended through Love-Communion
with the Radiant Transcendental Life-Consciousness. Then the
whole body, or the unified psycho-physical being, free of
its obsessive association with a separate inner or
mental-psychic being, must be transcended, Transfigured, and
ultimately Dissolved or Translated into the same Radiant
Transcendental Life-Consciousness, and through perfection of
the same process of self-transcending Love-Communion.
In the ultimate stage of the human or spiritual Process
of Man, it is not a matter of existence as the body itself
(in itself, separate from Consciousness or Life). Rather, it
is a matter of direct bodily (or total psycho-physical)
surrender into the Radiant Transcendental
Life-Consciousness-prior to the presumed separation of the
body from all other objects, or of the mind from the body,
or of the Transcendental Consciousness from the Radiant
Energy of Life.
